Professional Practice: Chemistry Co-op/Internship
(CHE 398.01/398.50/498.50)

The Co-op/Internship program offered by Illinois State University was designed to create opportunities for students to gain outside on the job experiences that applied the theory that they had learned in their classes.  The Department of Chemistry participates in the co-op/internship program.  The co-op/internship program is currently coordinated by Dr. Hitchcock.  In order to participate in this program, a student must seek out an employer and determine if the employer offers co-op or internship positions.  Once a student has established a contact with an employer, then he or she must contact Dr. Hitchcock in order to properly register and to discuss the expectations for the course.  Below are listed some frequently asked questions that may help answer any inquiries.
